QRSnap / Privacy Policy
Effective September 13, 2026
QRSnap is built around one simple idea: you shouldn't have to give up your privacy to make a QR code. This page explains exactly what that means in practice.
QRSnap requires no account, no email, and no signup of any kind. Whatever you type into the generator — a URL, WiFi credentials, or contact card details — is converted into a QR code entirely inside your own browser using JavaScript. That information is never sent to, processed by, or stored on our servers. When you close the tab, it's gone.
QRSnap is free to use and supported by advertising through Google AdSense. To do that, Google and its advertising partners may set cookies or use similar technologies in your browser to serve ads and measure their performance, including ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
You can review or opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, and manage participating vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info/choices. If you're visiting from the EU, UK, or EEA, you may see a consent prompt before any ads or related cookies are set, in line with Google's requirements for advertisers.
QRSnap uses a lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics script (Cloudflare Web Analytics) that reports aggregate visit counts without cookies, fingerprinting, or tracking of individual visitors across sites. It doesn't see anything you type into the generator.
QRSnap is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age — see "What we don't collect" above.
